About this event

  • 6 hours

The Wine Grape Council of South Australia will be hosting a professionally facilitated forum in Adelaide on Industry Codes with experts including the ACCC, the Small Business Commissioner plus other relevant speakers and guests.

This forum is being delivered by the WGCSA without any predetermined outcomes. Member input and active participation are crucial to this important discussion. There will be ample opportunity for questions and open dialogue.

PURPOSE: Our goal is to provide as much information as possible to our grape grower members around voluntary and mandatory codes and what options/ways forward are possible for our industry, these may include addressing some of the following:

  • What are we trying to achieve/fix?
  • What are the actual issues and if a code can influence those issues?
  • The pro's and con's (benefits and risks) of all options?

Following the forum we (WGCSA) will survey our members to determine how you wish us to advocate on your behalf going forward.
We hope to have as many of our grower members in the room for this important forum.
