The City Of Maribyrnong is excited to welcome the return of our beloved winter warmer series of live music events with the third instalment of West Set . After recently announcing the rescheduled 2021 August dates, we are thrilled to reveal the 2021 program and performer lineup.
Taking place from Thursday 19 - Sunday 29 August, West Set invites people to step out of their homes and into the warm, inviting spaces of some of the inner west’s most beloved Footscray venues.

Jazz Party - Jazz Party is a loose collective of jazzbos playing a slippery mix of jump blues, boogie, and rhythm blues á la New Orleans. Kicking off the first night of West Set we invite you to Jazz Party’s first show of a two-week special West Set residency.

Hollie Joyce - Wild, unconventional, and ruthlessly blunt, Hollie Joyce is a songwriter completely in control of her craft. Combining fervent lyrics with distorted and at times eerie tones, Joyce has established a compelling sound that doesn’t hold back. Her influences span wide, drawing as much from the works of Howlin’ Wolf, Buddy Holly, Patti Smith, Little Richard, The Who and Bob Dylan as she does from 70’s horror flicks and spaghetti westerns. The result is a dynamic cacophony that sometimes strays into raucous rock ’n’ roll freak outs, while at other times deviating to the more alluring and melodic.
