About Wearable Art Festival (WAF)
Developed in 2023 by Bunbury Public Library, WAF looks to expand each year to create community awareness of the important role we all play in reducing landfill waste. WAF inspires individuals, schools, community groups, aspiring artists, and businesses to reuse, repurpose and recycle everyday materials. These materials, commonly put into landfills significantly impact our environment. WAF inspires creativity within the community in repurposing everyday waste materials into art or fashion in a way that is fun and accessible for all.
