About this event

  • 2 hours

Dive into watercolour - flex your painting muscles or come a pick up a brush for the first time with Niki Koeppl. In this La Perouse Museum workshop on watercolour painting, you'll paint nature in the great outdoors!

Paint Australian flora and fauna, or be inspired by the scenery in front of you. Either way, fine arts teacher Niki Koeppl will take you through your artwork step by step. All materials will be provided on the day and you will be able to take home your canvas at the end.

Please wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting paint on. If the weather is good, you'll be outside on the front lawn so bring a hat and some sunscreen. If the weather is poor, you'll be on the veranda.

Niki Koeppl is a Sydney based Australian Artist, Fine Arts Teacher, Art Materials Sales Consultant and Product Demonstrator, Disability Support Teacher and Freelancer. She has acquired a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Cert III in Multimedia and currently runs a small business, NK ART, from her Art Studio in Matraville, providing regular adult art classes, workshops and tutorial support within the local community.

Please note: there is another art workshop at the Museum on Friday 14 June. If you would like to attend both of them, please buy tickets to both individual workshops. Unfortunately tickets are single-use only and do not book you a place in the next fortnight's workshop.
