Water Polo Seminar - Coaching and Pathways

What: Queensland School Sport Water Polo proudly presents a unique, free event with Aleks Osadchuk OLY, facilitated by Simon Daley, creator of 'Academy Waterpolo', to focus on quality coaching and player pathways in our Brisbane, Queensland and Australian water polo arenas.

Target Audience: Community members already involved in water polo who are interested in improving their water polo knowledge, ability to coach, and supporting young athletes. Adults and older school aged children (who need to be accompanied by an adult) are the most suitable agegroups.

Presenter: Aleks Osadchuk has an unmatched background in his experience as High-Performance Director of Australian Water Polo (and separately for QAS), former QAS Women’s head Coach, and Australian Water Polo Olympian.

Facilitator: Simon Daley is highly regarded for his support of water polo at all levels via his social media vehicle 'Academy Waterpolo' (19K followers on Facebook) and his expert commentary at major junior and senior events. Simon is also a former QAS Men's Coach, and captain of the South African Men's Water Polo Team.

Where: Fortitude Valley State Secondary College, Saturday 4 May 2024, 3:45 PM to 5:15pm

Format: Presentation, and Q&A to draw on Aleks' experiences.

• Tickets are free and limited, so bookings are necessary.
• School aged attendees and under 18s need to be accompanied by an adult.
• Exact location within the school will be emailed to registered attendees closer to the event.

This event is hosted by Queensland Representative School Sport to support the capability of coaches and community members.
