Join us for an afternoon of walking and writing inspired by the public art works in Coburg. Bring along your writing journal or phone to take notes and observations, as we stop to write along the way.

This workshop is perfect for anyone who enjoys walking, writing, and exploring art in urban spaces.

Artist bio:

Suzanne Hermanoczki and Lou Smith are facilitators of Writing Days. They run workshops, readings, events and provide writerly advice. Based in Coburg and Coburg North, they are both writing doctors, published writers, teachers, and enthusiasts of creative writing and their community. Suzanne & Lou both like writing, reading, photography, walking, chatting and a good cuppa (bikkies and cakes are always an option)!

Do I need to be an experienced writer to attend?

Not at all! This workshop welcomes writers of all levels, from beginners to seasoned pros. It's a great opportunity to explore your creativity and connect with like-minded individuals.

What should I bring to the workshop?

A writing book and pen will be provided, but feel free to bring your own writing book or phone too. Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are also recommended.
