- the biological process of sleep and the influences of sleep on mental wellbeing

- the impact that changes to a person’s sleep-wake cycle and sleep hygiene have on a person’s psychological functioning

- the contribution that classical and contemporary research has made to the understanding of sleep.

- the ways in which mental wellbeing may be defined

- the concept of mental wellbeing as a continuum

- the applications of a biopsychosocial approach to explain specific phobias

Whilst this workshop is designed for students studying VCE Psychology Units 3 and 4, all interested psychology students are welcome to attend.
