Under 5s Art Classes
Fridays 11-11:45am at the beautiful Bundoora Homestead Art Centre
Join Teresa Flynn from Like Minds Studios for our Term 2 series of kids art classes at Bundoora Homestead Art Centre. Classes will start with a group song or story to introduce the topic of the day and for the children (and carers!) to get to know each other. Sessions will explore the elements of art such as colour, shape, texture and pattern through material exploration and experimentation. Learners will have fun using paint, clay, collage and construction to create their very own messy masterpieces, in a safe nurturing environment.
Age
The recommended age for kids attending our classes is between 3-5 years old. A parent or carer must stay and supervise during the sessions.
Facilitator – Teresa Flynn | Like Minds Studios
Teresa has been working as an art teacher for the last 12 years with experience teaching a range of learners from pre-school age to adult. She loves the moments of joy, confidence and satisfaction that students share when they have experienced a successful or enjoyable moment during art classes. When she is not teaching or running art workshops, she enjoys spending time with her 2 children painting, baking and roller skating.
