AVCon Presents a night of indulgence like you’ve never experienced before.

Get dressed up into your best ball gown, tuxedo, cocktail dress or suit of armour and make your way in style to the centre of Adelaide.

The AVCon ball will be hosted in the splendour of one of the most glamorous venues in South Australia. Our hosts, the Stamford Plaza, have gone above and beyond to provide the most illustrious ballroom for our guests.

As you arrive, we will welcome you with a literal red carpet—an unforgettable entrance fit for a superstar! As soon as you step into the luxurious Stamford Plaza, we’ll hand you a flute of champagne, and the opulence will only increase from there.

Visit the cocktail table to feast upon either of our delectable platters;

Try the antipasto, which includes cured prosciutto, pastrami, olives, bocconcini cheese, grissini breadsticks, marinated mushrooms, grilled peppers, and fresh zucchini.Or maybe the cheese platter is more your style? A tantalising selection of local SA Cheeses with poached fruit, fresh grapes, lavosh, and nuts.

But don’t fill up just yet! While you mingle and engage in sparkling conversation, the Stamford team will circulate a selection of 6 chef’s choice canapés —high-class finger food curated to perfection from the freshest and highest-quality local produce. No need to search it out; at the AVCon Ball, you’ll be waited on hand and foot!

It's not the time to feel timid; indulge in as many of the fine canapés as you can for two hours.

But what is fine food without a delectable drop to wash it down with? Accompanied by the array of canapes will be a selection of bottomless beverages: sparkling, white, and red wine, cold house beers, or refreshing soft drinks. At the AVCon ball, for the first two hours, the drinks will literally flow like wine!

The drinks will then convert to a cash bar for the rest of the night.

And to sweeten the deal, treat yourself to a cheeky half-hour of our irresistible trio of mini desserts. Served to you on a silver platter and sending you to a sugary heaven.

Each guest will receive a customised name tag with an official AVCon wax seal, just a small treat to commemorate your fancy night out.

Professional photographers will be on site with their studio setups to take high-quality photos of you and your friends all night long, with dedicated photo walls and roaming photographers.

Join us in the ballroom decorated with twinkling lights and beautiful candles, which creates a dreamlike ambience that is second to none.

Be swept up in the atmosphere, be served at the private bar and relax out in the cool night air on our private balcony overlooking the glittering city of Adelaide.

While you dance the night away, eat and drink to your heart’s content—only the finest for AVCon Ball guests.

But what is it you shall dance to? The night will feature electrifying beats of DJ Kusaki, a beloved staple at AVCon events, igniting the dance floor with his infectious energy and signature tunes. DJ Kusaki will ignite the dance floor with electrifying beats until the Ball’s end at 11:30 pm. 

Ball patrons will also be the first to bear witness to the next exclusive guest announcement for AVCon 2024!

To end the formalities, the guests of the AVCon Ball will vote for which eligible couple will take up the mantle of the 2024 AVCon Royalty. The winning pair will win a custom-built set of crowns, a private photo shoot, and an invitation to attend AVCon 2024 with a pair of Gold Medal Passes.

The AVCon Ball – Fancy Night Out will be an event like nothing AVCon has ever done before, an exclusive evening of sophistication and opulence that is simply unmatched.
