About this event

Mondo, and the Victorian Government’s Neighbourhood Batteries Program last month announced the delivery a fleet of seven batteries totalling 1.75MWh of energy storage for Phillip Island. This is a program to be delivered in partnership with Totally Renewable Phillip Island, and Bass Coast Shire Council, with support of Westernport Water and Nature Parks.

Please join us on 6 May to learn more about this exciting initiative and the community benefits it will offer to the island.

Light tea and refreshments will be provided at the session.

What are neighbourhood batteries?
Progressive addition of neighbourhood-scale batteries will improve energy stability and provide energy storage capacity for locally generated solar power.

Working with our community partners, the additional batteries add greater community benefits to Mondo's Phillip Island Community Energy Storage System (PICESS) which has been operational since 2023.
