Today’s teenage environment is challenging.
Teens need to manage their emotional response to the stress of school, develop a sense of self, and grow their independence. They are connected online, yet with the pressure to measure-up to the expectations of others. They are forced into constant comparisons, not just with peers, but with influencers, celebrities and social ideals.
Join us for a community forum in Bathurst on Monday, May 13th, in the Upstair Co-working space.
The Community Forum is an environment to share and/or hear more about issues and challenges generating emotional responses to stress amongst teens and families - what's happening, how are you coping, how's it affecting you?

We’ll share some neuroscience of stress - physical sensations, usually accompanied by emotions - and how this impacts human thinking and behaviour. We'll explore everyday techniques to reduce emotional distress, including our program of practical skills that can help almost anyone to feel more calm, confident and connected.
