This workshop is designed to support teachers who are interested in learning how to collect and classify macroinvertebrates in a local creek, and what that can teach us about our waterways.

Delivered by Natura Pacific, the workshop will include:

  • How to conduct waterbug testing with students, including techniques, frequently found macroinvertebrates and interpretation of water quality from a sample.
  • How teachers can hire the Ipswich City Council waterbug collection kit to support classroom activities

INCLUSIONS

The workshop is available for for teacher or educators who live and/or work in the Ipswich region. There is no cost but bookings are essential.
