About this event

Got an old garment or pillowcase in need of a refresh?

Block printing is a printing technique that allows you to personalise garments, giving new life to old things and keeping clothes in use longer by covering stains. In this workshop, the upcycling artists from a Fitting Connection will share ways to turn everyday items into stamps and create a unique gift wrap using block printing.

A Fitting Connection will also be accepting textiles for recycling. Items that can be dropped off include clothes, soft toys, underwear, shoes, hats and other accessories. Items must be clean and dry.

This workshop is designed for ages 16+. There are two sessions available: 2-3pm and 3-4pm. Please register for one session only.

Presented by City of Greater Dandenong Waste Education Team in collaboration with Springvale Community Hub.
