Frequently asked questions

Where can I park?

There is parking available at the event at Doonan Creek Environment Reserve, 219 Doonan Bridge Rd, Verrierdale. Entrance to parking is adjacent to Dahlia Road, Verrierdale. Look for signage along the road to guide you to the event.

What facilities are available?

Portable toilets, water refill station, and food trucks including coffee and other drinks will be available at the event, however it is recommended to bring a reusable water bottle, reusable coffee cup and a picnic to enjoy under the shade of the trees at the reserve.

Is the event wheelchair friendly?

The event is held in an open paddock with uneven ground (see event images). The event site is 250m from the car park along a gravel track. If you would like to attend please email us eoadmin@sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au and we can call you to discuss some options and possibilities.

What do I need to bring?

The event is held in an open paddock area of the reserve with uneven ground. It is recommended that you wear enclosed footwear and sunsafe clothing and bring your own water bottle and reusable coffee/drink cup. Please feel free to bring a picnic to enjoy under the shade of the trees.
