With an altitude of 550m in Mount Tamborine, watch the magnificent inland sunset, with a Japanese fusion cuisine prepared by Chef Aki against the backdrop of the fantastic twilight scenery. After the night sets in, enjoy a star gazing tour by Keisuke, an Australian certified eco-tour guide who will take you on a journey through the southern night sky whilst enhancing your knowledge on astronomy. There will be Irish harp, Violin, piano and Voice concert on the observatory deck at Sunset & Twilight time. and later at Japanese tea time, piano, and some Japanese instruments and singing performances.

The night of the new moon is really beautiful.

The sky is full of stars, you might see shooting stars, Milky Way. ... You can make a wish for the stars. It is cold at night, so please bring winter jackets to watch stars.

The air is clear at night, and the stars are extremely beautiful! However, I am sorry if the weather is bad. The meal schedule cannot be changed, so we will still hold the event, but hopefully we all can experience the beautiful sunset, twilight, together with millions of stars and the milky way.

If you would like to stay that night at our place, you can stay at our new Japanese ryokan style rooms. We have a few rooms for max 6 guests. $130(+GST) per person to share with other guests for twin room or Queen bed room, or Japanese therapy room. But I will not mix different group in one room. Share means bathroom sharing next room guests (Not share with us)as it is two bedrooms and one bathroom unit. You can drink, and no need to drive home. And also you will be able to have cooked Japanese Ryokan breakfast with beautiful morning Valley view with morning mist.

This event's drinks are BYO. We will prepare the glasses but we don't serve Alcohols. We all busy for serving food and performing. Please understand the situation. But we can serve, tea, water, Matcha.

And also it is very hard for chef to make one by one different meals, we would like you to enjoy Chef's Omakase his special meal. Therefore we can provide, Non Vegetarian meal, or Vegetarian meal only.

Only when you have some allergies for specific food, inform us when you decide to attend. Please note that most of Japanese food which looks like only vegetables, but still using Bonito Broth. (Fish), without using Bonito, it doesn't taste Japanese food

In the southern hemisphere the seasonal constellations are all upside-down, as far as a northerner is concerned, while a slew of bright stars and While the north pole faces outwards to the Universe beyond, the south pole points to the galactic centre of the Milky Way.

This means more bright stars and more constellations containing more stunning objects. Plus, everything in the southern hemisphere sky will look upside down, if you're used to northern skies.

What we may see at the sunset heaven and spa are The Milky Way's bright centre, This is the Sagittarius Arm of our galaxy, and it's stunning. The Southern Pointers, Alpha Centauri, Southern Cross, The coalsak Nubula, Canopus, Small & Large Magellanic Clouds and shooting star if lucky enough.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience, however our inn is not suitable for small children as there are many delicate materials such as Byoubu folding screens made of Japanese paper, shoji (rice paper window), Ikebana(flower arrangement), Tatami(rush mat flooring), However, babies up to six months old are still welcome. Cot, baby bath, changing table, etc. are available.

Over 10 years old child would be appreciated but it depends on the child. Please take full responsibility for supervision of your children.
