Next Step Community Development is a non-profit dedicated to improving the well-being of Australians amid global integration. We engage people from all backgrounds at the grassroots level. Our focus is on promoting active participation and empowering individuals to drive their economic growth through education and support initiatives.


We’re delighted to present our newest workshop tailored to support individuals from Arabic-speaking backgrounds, offering attendees the chance to participate in this interactive, hands-on session. The workshop is specifically designed to teach the fundamentals of starting a business in Australia.


The workshop will be conducted simultaneously in both English and Arabic and will cover three

(3) main parts.

1. Registration, licencing, compliance and basic ATO requirements.

2. Compiling a business Plan

3. Obtaining Financial Assistance

Participants can expect to leave with the tools they need to register and start their own business, participants also have the choice to subscribe to ongoing support services to ensure their business venture is successful.

George Nicolas has been a business owner for over 20 years, gaining extensive experience across various industries. He has helped numerous start-ups thrive and is passionate about turning aspiring entrepreneurs’ dreams into reality. Based in southwest Sydney, George dedicates his time to assisting local business owners in adapting to the ever-evolving consumer demands. He is also actively involved in supporting his community through various volunteer programs aimed at helping those in need.
