You're Invited
Do you feel called to teach? Maybe you've caught yourself wondering what it might be like to be a teacher but not sure if it's for you? St Philip's Teaching School invites you to attend their Open Evening on Thursday, 27th of June to hear more about how they're delivering quality teacher training.
At our Open Evening you will have the opportunity to meet our incredible St Philip's Teaching School staff, and chat to our trainee teachers about why they love and advocate for the St Philip's Teaching School model of teacher training.
We will also spend the evening talking through what a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary) and Master of Teaching (Primary or Secondary) could look like for you — and how we've partnered with tertiary providers to ensure that our trainees are classroom-ready and love what they do!
Why St Philip's Teaching School?
At the St Philip's Teaching School, we provide a uniquely better teacher training model, dovetailing theory and practice in an immersive school-based experience with a Christian worldview.
We provide an innovative and practical teacher training program where Trainee Teachers are placed in a classroom from the first day of their degrees. With care and supervision of a dedicated Mentor Teacher, trainees experience first-hand the rhythm of a school year within a supportive Christian school community. The apprenticeship model provides school-based teacher training in partnership with our tertiary provider to shape the trainee for the role of a Christian school teacher.
