Aurie is dedicated to serving the community on an intimate level at all stages of their healing and awakening journeys. With experience and background in Breathwork, Transformative Movement, Meditation, Light Code Activation and Shamanic Cleansing, Aurie provides a safe container for unique and profound healing journeys to take place. A well seasoned soul. A wild and potent presence. A conductor of music, movement and magic. Aurie has been mixing and alchemising sounds from all around the world for 12 years! Playing in a variety of clubs, bars and parties locally in Melbourne and internationally. Well known for his unique blend of anything house, techno, groove, funky basslines and soulful underground tunes he is very keen to weave these elements together to create an unforgettable ecstatic dance experience like no other!

Disclaimer and Contraindications:

Breathwork results in certain specific physiological changes in the body and also can result in intense physical and emotional release. As a precaution, the following conditions are contraindicated in certain breathwork practices:

• Pregnancy (at any stage)
• Severe PTSD or trauma
• Actively using recreational drugs
• Taking any medication that alters brain chemistry like anti-anxiety, anti-depressant, ADD, OCD medications, etc.
• Prescription blood thinners or anti-clotting medications
• Osteoporosis
• Detached Retina
• Glaucoma
• Kidney disease
• High Blood Pressure
• Cardiovascular disease, including angina, previous heart attack, or any other cardiovascular issues
• Strokes or TIAs
• Seizures, history of seizures or other brain/neurological condition or disease
• Diagnosis of aneurysm (of any kind)
• Uncontrolled thyroid conditions
• Diabetes (any type)
• Severe Asthma— for mild to moderate asthma, we can discuss but you must bring your inhaler to the session
• Epilepsy
• Prior diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or previous psychiatric condition
• Severe psychosomatic disorders
• Recent surgery, stitches or injury
• Hospitalization for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis within the last 10 years
• Any other medical, psychiatric or physical conditions which would impair or affect ability to engage in any activities that involve deep physical and/or emotional release

If you are on the contraindication list, you are not a candidate for the full breathwork technique. Please email iamempoweredalchemy@gmail.com to discuss a modified, gentle breathwork option and it is your personal responsibility to discuss with your medical practitioner before participating in the workshop if this is a suitable activity to partake in. Naturally, there are a few precautions regarding cacao’s compatibility with some health disorders or medications, that should be explored before consuming cacao. Please read list below to see if you are able to consume cacao during our ceremony.

• Antidepressants -Those on MAIO antidepressants should not consume cacao.
• Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
• GERD
• IBS
• Bleeding Disorders
• Heart Conditions
• High Blood Pressure
• Low Blood Pressure

If you are on the contraindication list, you are not a candidate for consuming cacao during our ceremony. You may have a cup of tea or drink water instead. It is your personal responsibility to discuss with your medical practitioner before participating in the workshop if this is a suitable activity to partake in.
