Solar Eclipse Salon // Lunar New Year

We make our way now to the threshold through smoke and chaos, drawing conclusions and dragging last year's skins over the rocks. We have to find our way in this darkness, guided best by the light we fashion from within as the mood hides her face now in preparation for the eclipse. In the distance we can hear hooves, or is that thunder? We can sense change on the far side of the week, and perhaps every day between. We know the season that shifts all our shapes is already here.

This is no ordinary new moon, and neither no ordinary eclipse if there is such a creature. Many starpaths lead to this junction, and more besides are weaved into its whole season. This is another begin-again in a year rippling with fresh start lines and smarting with all we can, perhaps must, now leave behind.

Eclipses are a dance of shadow and light, conjuring both from our depths. Replete with endings and beginnings, mayhem and magic alike, eclipses offer us a regular reset button frequently knocking us back on to our soul's path if we have been led astray. This time around sweeping up even chaos and revelation, changing the world from the ground up and barrelling it towards a new earth.

The next new moon from the far end of Aquarius delivers our lunar new year. A solar eclipse that squares its ruler Uranus also in the final straits of Taurus and pinging all our extinction thresholds. Anaretica offers completion of multiple cycles and life sequences but not without effort, calling into question all that knocks us far from our authenticity and hankering for the change writ large that is the only thing that can save us now.
