Frequently asked questions

Who can attend this event?

Young people aged 12 to 25 years. If any young people bring someone along to this event who is outside of this age range, please contact us ahead of booking to avoid confusion or delay upon entry. 03 9098 8000 / jets@banyule.vic.gov.au

Why do you need my date of birth? Why do I need to bring identification?

To prioritise young people's attendance, we will collect people's date of birth to ensure our bookings are from young people, to be verified on entry. People over 25 years who book need to be known to ensure they are attending with someone 12-25 years.

I am not a young person or attending with a young person, can I attend this event?

We discourage people over 25 years from securing tickets as you will have your ID checked and be refused entry if you are not attending with a registered young person.

How are young people kept safe at this event?

This event will be drug, smoke/vape and alcohol free; this is enforced with bag checks, supervision by Youth Workers, and presence of security and first aid. Finally, there is no passouts at this event - meaning no person will be able to re-enter upon leaving.

What is the venue's accessibility like?

This event takes place is an indoor venue with lifts & ramps to navigate the space, as well as accessible gender neutral bathrooms, family change room and prayer room. There is an accessible viewing location within the performance space, and there will be a Sensory Lounge available to all patrons.

I want to be able to leave and come back, is this okay?

Due to how our event is funded, there are no passouts - meaning no one will be about to re-enter upon leaving. We provide access to food, water and bathrooms to accommodate all essentials, but if you foresee needing to access to local area, you're strongly encouraged to go before entering the event.

You said dinner is provided - what food is available?

We will be providing pizza from Little Naples, Ivanhoe. We will serve options which are vegetarian, vegan and gluten free, but cannot guarantee no cross contamination. Bringing food is permitted, but leaving for dinner and returning is not possible due to no re-entry.

Can I bring my own food or drink?

You are welcome to bring your own food and an empty drink bottle into the event. You will not be permitted to enter the event with liquids in your bottle.

Do you have any free tickets available? I cannot afford a ticket

For people experiencing financial hardship, please get in contact with Jets Studio. We can provide you a complimentary ticket until the event is booked out.

Do you accept Companion Cards?

We definitely do :)

Can someone under 12 years of age attend?

Children are welcome to attend with a parent and young person at the family's discretion. Please note: our performers tailor their performance to be appropriate for 12-25 year old young people. We cannot guarantee this is an event appropriate for children.

I have questions that are not answered or I'm having some trouble, who or where do I contact?

Please contact Jets Studio and ask for Jay Underwood. 03 9098 8000 / jets@banyule.vic.gov.au

I am not a young person (12 to 25 years of age) - can I attend this event?

Our priority for tickets is to go to young people aged 12 to 25 years due to limited capacity. People accompanying a young person (who already has a ticket) are encouraged to contact the Event Manager Jay on 03 9098 8000 before securing their ticket.
