SHE Talks is one of those small enterprises that are helping to shape Melbourne through events that bring diverse individuals together, through the sharing of conversations, ideas and working on projects as a team.

"There's nothing more powerful than an idea that delivers possibilities and draws us closer through inspiration, causing a belief in us that inspires action." ~ SHE Talks Creator: Fur Wale

WHAT ARE IDEAS GOOD FOR?

Bright ideas are important, when they serve as messages of possibility and provide a view of future potential.

Expanding the mind to greater levels of conceiving and performing, even if the idea itself doesn't become a reality, rather, triggering individuals to their own visions.

Even when the usefulness in it is un-decided, a bright idea is transformative. Those ideas that take time, that ripple through the years, decades or centuries, creating greater momentum conversation to conversation, until the shift in thinking reaches critical mass and happens to create a global impact.

“An idea is anything that can change how people see the world,” ~ TED Talks Curator: Chris Anderson.

Organizer SHE Talks® Fur Wale

Organizer of SHE Talks - My Big Idea 'Celebrating Women's Bright & Beautiful Minds'

ABOUT Fur Wale - International Keynote Speaker/Author /Mentor/Trainer

Skills and Expertise

I am an author, writer, speaker, trainer, mentor and multi-passionate entrepreneur, with a strong background in media and theatre. Proud creator of the SHE Talks platform, creating female leaders through the power of public speaking, growth mindset and primal wisdom.

I have always had an insatiable appetite for knowledge and primal wisdom (fundamental instincts and behaviour), and knew I wanted to write my own books and share my discoveries with others.

My career focused study includes English literature (making sense of the world through stories, poems, novels and plays, and training to write with clarity), media, film, photography, radio, TV presentation, modelling, acting, public speaking, publicity press-release writing, business management and business marketing.

My personal interests had me continue study in: The sciences of Natural Medicine and human behaviour to knowledgeably take charge of my well-being. Taoism (the various disciplines for “Becoming one with the unplanned rhythms of the all”) and Transcendental Meditation, to best manage life. Yin Yoga, which is still part of my daily practice. Zen Do Kai Karate with Bob Jones. Deckhand duties so I could become the first female deckhand on the ‘Big Cat’ catamaran going out to Green Island. Sound engineering, to be able to mix my boyfriends band at their gigs.

I have never been a shrinking violet, however, you may be surprised to know that there was a time when I used to be reserved and really embarrassingly awkward — hoping to appear confident, meanwhile feeling like a total imposter.

I found a way to permanently breakthrough this behaviour, to go on and speak in front of audiences as large as 2,000 people, and for me an even bigger breakthrough was feeling at ease in those up close and personal conversations with one person.

I realised that every second woman I spoke to was living with this same set-back. THIS is why I am beyond passionate about authentic self expression —dedicated to liberating and empowering women to confidently express themselves in the most credible way possible and why I created the SHE Talks platform for women to become fully self expressed leaders; because what we say or do not say will affect generations to come!!

“You will find Fur easy to follow and highly engaging. Fur delivers a wealth of knowledge that includes step by step distinctions, ready to use strategies and insiders information that hasn’t been taught before. She is attentive to each individuals needs in order that they receive a breakthrough in what is holding them back, while ensuring the individual works on what matters to them. Fur is outcome orientated to guarantee you get the results you want. No fluffing about or filling in time because she is there to take you to your next level. You will leave empowered and prepared - not overwhelmed.” Head Multicultural Arts Advisor, Cathy Chorsley.
