Please arrive from 5.30pm for a 6pm start. There will be drinks and food available while catching up with old and new colleagues.


Alison is an Occupational therapist with over 30 years experience in the mental health , she has a Master’s degree in Perinatal and Infant Mental Health. She has worked in several mental health services in the UK and Australia and she has spent the last 15 years or so working in a number of perinatal and infant mental health settings. She is currently the National Clinical Lead for ForWhen, a new Government funded navigation service linking parents in the perinatal period to mental health support.

Alison has a special interest in the use of sensory modulation strategies for parents in the perinatal period and has found it to be particularly useful when working with parents with trauma and emotional dysregulation issues.

The committee has decided that we would love to have as many people join us as possible so this event is free.
