Writing and business writing are worlds apart, and in this training we will unravel the nuances of informal pitches so as to provide delegates with the tools to write compelling documents in their working lives.

Writing Your Proposal

This session helps participants to learn how to draft and present their proposal through a framework that provides approaches to doing research, offers strategies for drafting the proposal, suggests ways to structure it, and offers vocabulary to mark the draft proposal at various stages as the draft goes from being a mere idea to its final form.

Putting Your Thoughts into Writing

It doesn’t have to be difficult to begin writing a proposal. In this lecture we are going to outline three steps that participants can use as a framework, and hopefully they will use those in their research as well. And then we are going to use a case study to apply all the steps.
