Safe and Together Overview Training
The Safe & Together Model fills the gaps in knowledge and practice and assists all systems touching on domestic violence and child well-being to become domestic violence informed, supporting child well-being and safety across all partners in the domestic violence community.
This Training Will Cover:
This one-day training provides participants with an introduction to and overview of the Safe & Together Model. The training provides participants with information about creating a domestic violence-informed child welfare system, the principles and components of the Safe & Together Model and information on the framework behind competency-building in child welfare around domestic violence.
Learning Objectives:
- To introduce the perpetrator pattern framework.
- To introduce and understand the Safe and Together Model principles and components and how those guide practise in various roles.
- To introduce how to use the Safe and Together Model as a way to enhance good practise in Various roles.
- To share information about the range of activities and offerings from the Safe and Together Institute.
