Pickling & Pruning with Pascale Jacq

Join us in the garden to learn all of Pascale’s tips and tricks to best maintain your trees through different pruning techniques, followed by a pickling session where we will explore ways to preserve your harvest, including a step-by-step olive preparation and how to make brine for pickling.

Your facilitator:
Pascale works in and around Naarm (Port Phillip Bay/Melbourne), reconnecting individuals, families, communities, schools and organisations with nature to improve wellbeing, sustainability, connection to community, and reconciliation. She currently works as an educator at the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne, Port Phillip Ecocentre, Urban Adventurers and in her own business Naturelovers Education.


This workshop is supported by Bayside Council through a food security grant initiative to provide knowledge about growing and preserving food and reducing waste. The price of this workshop represents a donation for the garden for administrative purposes, with the individual price for the workshop subsidised thanks to Bayside Council
