What do I need to bring?

Bring your eventbrite ticket via a printout or showcasing on your smartphone. A full water bottle to stay hydrated & a sweat towel. We encourage you to travel light as space will be limited.

What to wear

We recommend comfy, workout clothing for you to flow with the movements of Pilates. This will be a shoes off class. We encourage you to bring shoes that are easy to take off/put on. As part of your ticket, we will be gifting you a free yoga mat!

Parking/commuting from another campus

Onsite parking is available at Monash Clayton Campus. The ticketed and blue + red permit zones become free after 4pm. Monash students & staff can use the free shuttle buses to travel between campuses by scanning their M-Pass upon boarding. For more info, please search Monash University parking.

Do you offer Pilates classes at Monash Sport?

Do I need a ticket/to register

Although this is a FREE event, you must secure your spot to attend the event. On the night: Get your device ready for our event staff to scan your ticket on the way in and collect your free arrival gift (yoga mat).

Is this event accessible

Yes! Please contact us so we can provide you with the best support ahead of this event. Soft, background music will be in use during this event. Our instructors will also use a microphone. This event will also use dim lighting.

I have never tried Pilates before, is this okay?

Yes, of course! Pilates caters to all fitness and skill levels, so you don’t need any experience before attending this event. Just bring a can-do attitude and our experienced instructors will guide you through.

Do I need to attend the whole event? Any breaks?

It’s completely up to you. Doors will open at 5.30pm with Pilates starting at 6pm with a 60 minute duration. If you plan on leaving earlier, we recommend choosing a space closer to the exit. There will be short breaks throughout but take it at your own pace.
