The City of Canning is hosting a Youth Summit for young people aged 15 - 25 residing, working or studying in the city who are transitioning from high school in to the world of employment.

Be inspired by the diverse pathways that can take you to achieve your own career goals and embrace your life experiences. There will be a variety of employment & education stall holders to network and connect with, some light catering provided, door prizes and a panel of special guests who have a wealth of experience and knowledge to share.

Special Guest Speakers

Bellamore Ndayikeze

Bellamore is the director and founder of BN Collective, dedicated to nurturing young entrepreneurs by providing mentorship to bring their business ideas to life. With 13 years of experience working with youth, she served as the WA Youth Ambassador and chaired the Youth Ministerial Advisory Council. Tenacious by nature, Bellamore also finds joy in playing and coaching AFL.

Rupen Kotecha


Rupen is a strategic and commercially minded business professional, having been CFO on the board of British Airways, decided to unleash the entrepreneur in him and started numerous businesses on landing in Australia. He founded, built, and sold the CFO Centre and is now focused on helping other business owners and leaders reach their peak through the WA Leaders platform. WA Leaders is designed to take a business from being good to being Extra Ordinary. It does this by providing access to valued connections, improved capability, and capital. Rupen has a strong belief in aligning peoples’ roles to their profile which helps to unleash the best in everyone.

Greg Riebe

Greg’s extensive experience in corporates, SMEs and start-ups, has helped him hone a unique set of skills that recognises where enabling technologies combined with highly- scalable business models can result in fundable high performance operating businesses. With over 25 years’ experience in most facets of the emerging technology sector, Greg ran what was the first technology incubator in Perth, managed a fund investing in technology start-ups, has been a co-founder of a number technology businesses and more recently as an adviser to founders on how to become investment ready, how to get scale, create and capture value and how to position their ventures to harvest returns for shareholders, investors or stakeholders. Greg was a cofounder of the Perth Angels, South West Angels and Singapore Connect Venture Partners. Greg’s exposure to filtering, assessing and structuring numerous individual innovative ventures for investment &/or acquisition or divestment, has helped him better appreciate the perspectives in the sourcing of funds from capital providers, fund investors, co-investors and business owners. In 2020, Greg was recognised as the Australian Angel Investor of the Year and was awarded the 2020 WA Pearcey Entrepreneur Award.
