Both originally from the Midlands in the UK, Scruby & Aron met in Sydney in 2009 and after ten years of their solo DJ careers, the pair joined forces behind the decks and never looked back.

Scruby & Aron’s sound is best described as percussive grooves with rolling bass lines and an uplifting element of cutting-edge synth and vocals that bring a solid vibe to most dancefloors. Their vibe can be appreciated in their energetic sets, played regularly in Sydney and around Australia.

They recently broke into the Traxsource and Beatport Charts with releases on the mighty Toolroom Records, Klaphouse and Great Stuff, whilst only a few weeks ago their track ‘Shake it Down’ featured as track of the week on Toolroom Radio so they are on a roll.

The pair have plenty of other releases on many labels already including Roush, Insert Coin, Mavic Music plus a host of Australian labels such as Basement Sounds and 43 Degrees records.

A few years into producing, Scruby & Aron Chiarella launched Friday Records in 2015 with the aim to support local and emerging international talent. Since then the label has had releases from the likes of Oscar L, Jaceo and Sergio Fernandez with support from Hot Since 82, Paco Osuna, DJ Dep and Miguel Bastida. Additionally, there is backing from widely acclaimed artists like Mark Knight and the Toolroom team and plenty more to come!
