Altus Barker is an Australian acoustic singer/songwriter, headed by folk-driven storytelling and his
Buckley-esque vocals. Inspired by the lush surrounds of his hometown in regional WA, he has developed a distinctly coastal south-west sound.
Picking up the guitar in high school, he fronted the band Needing Cherie – who played at Groovin the Moo and Fairbridge Festivals.
His sounds have been compared to the likes of Ben Howard and Vance Joy.
