Did you know that Geoscience Australia has years of earthquake data freely available online?

This teacher professional learning session will explore how you can access real earthquake data in the classroom, walk you through a global 3D earthquake model and will provide you with some ready-to-use classroom activities prompting students to collect and analyse data.

We will also explore earthquake patterns and their implications for understanding the development of plate tectonic understanding.

How should I connect to the session?

We recommend having access to a mouse and second monitor to make the session easier to follow, but understand some participants may be joining from a laptop. Tablets are not recommended for this session.
