Join us for the Northern Archers of Sydney Inc. Beginner Course, a comprehensive 4-week program designed to introduce you to the captivating world of archery. Led by our esteemed instructors certified by World Archery and Archery Australia, each 2-hour session will provide you with the knowledge and skills essential for diving into this exciting sport.
Throughout the course, all necessary archery equipment will be provided, so there's no need to make any purchases beforehand. Simply come prepared to learn and enjoy the experience. The course kicks off on the start date of the first session, with subsequent sessions scheduled at similar times over the following three weeks. Terms and conditions for the beginner courses are as below:
- Attendance: Participants must attend all scheduled classes. If the first class is missed, Northern Archers offers a makeup session or refund. No makeups or refunds are provided for subsequent absences without approval.
- Exceptions: Makeup classes are considered only in exceptional cases, subject to approval.
- Commitment: Participants must commit to consistent attendance and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Assessment: At the course's end, participants undergo an assessment to demonstrate proficiency in order to be considered for full membership at the club to ensure the safety of all archers at the club.
- Photography Release: Participants grant Northern Archers permission to use photographs and videos for training, marketing, and promotional purposes.
- Liability Waiver: Participants release Northern Archers from liability for any injury or damage incurred during the course.
- Termination: Northern Archers reserve the right to terminate enrolment for non-compliance, justifiable reasons, or instances where a participant fails to adhere to range and bow safety protocols.
