Join us for a Kids Special Edition: Noongar Language Lesson designed for children and their families! This engaging session offers a unique opportunity to learn the basics of Noongar language and culture through fun games and songs.

Learn basic Noongar language words in a friendly, inclusive environment for both parents and children. 🌏👨‍👩‍👧‍👦


To help us keep you and our community safe:

  • We ask guardians to remain with children under the age of 8 in activity areas for the duration of events.
  • Children under the age of 13 years must be supervised by a guardian at all times while in a City of Canning Library (siblings 16 years + are deemed suitable to supervise)
  • Eventbrite bookings are essential and all attendees must have a ticket.

Kalyakoorl Pty Ltd is a company owned and operated by Dylan Collard, a Wadjak and Balardong Noongar man.

Dylan has a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Arts (UWA) and Master of Teaching (Deakin). He is also a qualified Noongar language teacher.

Dylan's journey into teaching Noongar language commenced in 2017, fueled by a passion for language revitalisation and the pursuit of self-determination through the preservation of Noongar language.
