Josh Linnett is a Brisbane Based jazz singer with a passion for crooning, improvisation and expression. Inspired by the greats, including, Frank Sinatra, Mel Torme and Vince Jones. As a postgraduate in jazz performance at the Queensland Conservatorium Josh has been guided and trained by the likes of Irene Bartlet, Dave Spicer and Steve Newcomb – honing his craft and travelling to new heights. For the past four years he has been performing at venues and events around Queensland, spreading his love for music far and wide. In 2021 Josh's velvety voice paired with a charming and bubbly persona had him deemed “the Michael Bublé of the Sunshine Coast.

Each instalment of Noir Nights, Live! features a carefully curated lineup of performers, ensuring a diverse and vibrant musical journey. From soulful blues to energetic rock, from soothing jazz to electrifying pop, our stage hosts a rich tapestry of musical expressions that captivate and inspire.

In addition to providing a platform for established and emerging artists, Noir Nights, Live! is proud to collaborate with local school groups, offering support and opportunities for young musicians to showcase their talents alongside seasoned professionals. Secure your tickets now for the second Thursday of every month; and be a part of the vibrant musical tapestry at Noir Nights, Live! Doors open 6.30pm, local school support acts playing from 7pm-7.30pm, followed by our main act from 8pm-9.15pm, bar open til late!
