🎨 Join Curate to celebrate Naidoc as a community with Indigenous Artist Tabatha Davison with our Naidoc Stencil Art Workshop Sessions! 🎨

If you know Curate, you know we just 💗 love 💗 the holidays!

So join us this July School Holidays in expanding your own personal creative practices!

Participants are provided with a scaffolded approach of artistic development, with the goal of becoming a more confident artist.

This workshop is perfect for all ages 👩‍🎨 from the novice to most experienced artist 👩‍🎨 and assists with them becoming more confident in subject selection as well as in understanding colour theory, along with learning about perspective in hand drawing.

Participants kick off their session by choosing their frame colour, drawing subject and colours, as well as a stencil (if they prefer but not necessary by any means!).

Then we let creativity take hold! Our talented professional artist will be on hand to guide them using best artistic practice in their chosen project, along with our experienced workshop facilitator who is there to assist wherever needed! 🖍️

Participants listen to luxurious jazz music whilst they chill out and create their own beautiful, framed art project.

And it's up to each participant how involved our arts facilitators get involved - from no instructions provided to subject selection inspo to assistance. Just let us know how hands on you'd like us to be, we don't want to mess with your mellow. 👌

Parking

There are several parking options for the 63 Grantham Street Curate Studio.

There is a carpark located just before 53 Grantham Street, that serves the row of shopfronts in which we are located (there is a photo lab, hair stylist, etc. all in the same row of shops).

Street parking is also available in front of 63 Grantham; however, it does act as a clearway at times, so please check the parking signs first before parking there to avoid being ticketed.

Street parking is available on Marlow Street, too. Please be mindful of the parking signs.

And, finally, there is a Town of Cambridge - Grantham Street Car Park located behind MUMMUC and Monsterella Pizza (access points include Griffiths Lane and Jersey Street).
