My Father's Wars podcast launch

This event will launch podcasts created by Elaine Acworth, 2015/16 Q ANZAC 100 Fellow.  Elaine received a grant from the Queensland Government Anzac Centenary Grants to develop the podcasts which are based on the research she completed as a Q ANZAC 100 Fellow at SLQ.

As a playwright and dramatist, Elaine developed a dramatic work based on her personal journey of discovering and reconciling the image of Bill Acworth – her father, and soldier of the two world wars. This dramatic work has been furthered developed for radio as podcasts.

My Father's Wars was funded by the Queensland Anzac Centenary Grants program. This event is part of the Q ANZAC 100: Memories for a New Generation project.
