  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Wander into the rooms of Collins Booksellers on Lydiard and join us for an evening with author Geoff McArthur as he discusses his novel 'Look for the Red Umbrella'. This is the story of Mrs Muller, Umbrella and Parasol Maker who ran her business from the very same premises as Collins Books in the 1800’s.

Immerse yourself into the world of Mrs Muller as you hear about her life and imagine yourself in a moment in time where umbrella's and parasols were made and mended on Lydiard St.

Geoff will be in conversation with Renee Price as he discusses his book, the research he undertook, his discoveries and the intricate elements of the story of Mrs Muller. This will be made even more enjoyable with the inclusion of our resident "Mrs Muller" who will be in attendance also.

Places to this very intimate evening are limited so please book quickly.
