The Victorian Heart Institute (VHI), is the research and education institute embedded within the Victorian Heart Hospital (VHH). The VHH is Australia’s first standalone cardiac hospital dedicated to heart health in the Southern Hemisphere, where medical researchers, innovators, clinicians and health professionals will work collaboratively to benefit patients and improve the heart health of communities throughout Australia.

Our Cardiology Masterclass has an expert faculty lined up to summarise the latest research and clinical practice updates over 10 modules (see the agenda below for topic breakdown).
Our program was designed specifically with primary care physicians in mind and our evidence-based presentations have a strong focus on providing practical advice with plenty of time for Q&A so you can gain the specific knowledge you require.
Session outline for each topic:
- 2min – multiple-choice primer questions
- 15-18min – evidence-based presentation with a strong focus on practical advice
- 10min – Q&A session with presenter which is moderated by a General Practitioner
Attendance is not limited to General Practitioners however content will be delivered through a lens relevant to primary care.
The one-day masterclass (held entirely on Zoom) allows for attendance from anywhere in Australia.
