About this event

Learn how to provide initial support to someone experiencing a mental health crisis at our Mental Health First Aid Course, over 4 sessions. Gain a Mental Health First Aid qualification and arm yourself with the skill to comply with legislation changes. This course is presented by experienced psychologist and licenced MHFA trainer, Clarie Vrieze.

Session times:

  • Session # 1 Wednesday 1st May (2pm-5pm)
  • Session # 2 Thursday 2nd May (2pm-5pm)
  • Session # 3 Wednesday 8th May (2pm-5pm)
  • Session # 4 Thursday 9th May (2pm-5pm)

Please note:- participants must attend all sessions to receive the qualification.



The Standard Mental Health First Aid® Training is a comprehensive 12-hour course accredited by Mental Health First Aid® Australia. Designed with a focus on evidence-based practices, this course is internationally recognised for its rigorous evaluation and skill-based training approach.

Upon successfully completing the course and a brief assessment, participants will earn the title of Accredited Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider®). This accreditation is valid for 3 years, endorsing your ability to provide initial mental health support.
