Get ready for an amazing Medicine Rattle Workshop where you'll create your own special rattle! You will be crafting your unique rattle using rawhide pieces and fruit wood sticks. Best by far would be to bring your own stick for a handle, one that has particular Medicine for you for it was found on your journey.
We'll teach you the first steps of making your rattle. You'll learn how to shape and sew the rattle's head, which represents its female side. Then you will get to smooth out and possibly decorate the male part of the Medicine Rattle which is the wooden handle. You temporarily put them together and give your rattle time to dry out. Then you can get creative and add your own decorations at home to make it truly yours!
You'll have the chance to choose what crystal chips feel right for you. The rattles shaker seeds and small crystals will be given to you to hold close to heart while you make your Medicine Rattle. These allies’ will assist you to make your rattle more personal and continuously add to the energetic fire of your creation.
There's more to this workshop than just making something. We'll dive into the spiritual and energetic side of Medicine Rattles. You'll learn how these sacred tools can connect you to the elements of the Medicine Wheel, which is a guiding map to access higher realms.
At the end of the workshop, you'll leave with your very own, one-of-a-kind Medicine Rattle. It will match your energy and what you want to achieve. It will connect you to ancient traditions and give you the power to make positive changes in your life.
When your Rattle is dry enough (about 1-2 weeks) is when you will get to work with your Medicine Rattle again, to add the shaker seeds and decorations.
