This pass entitles members to ONE family ticket (2 adults and up to 3 children aged 4-15).
*To ensure all our members have access, we ask that passes are ony booked for one day, and not consecutive days.
The family pass entitles you to:
- admission to the museum's fleet
- entry to all galleries and special exhibitions
- entry to 'Kids on Deck', 'Mini Mariners' and discounts for school holiday programs and workshops
- 10% discount at The Shop
- 10% discount at Ripples Cafe
- Flat rate $15 parking at WIlson Parking, Harbourside Shopping Centre (all day) and at The Star (7am-6:30pm) (present parking ticket to Museum's front desk to validate)
It also includes: Free guided tours of the museum for groups of 5 or more (by arrangement) and free access to the Members Lounge with your guests for complimentary refreshments.
P LEASE NOTE: Children must be taller than 90cm to go onboard the vessels. On hot days to ensure visitor safety, they close all vessels when the temperature reaches 36° Celsius.
Frequently asked questions
You can pick the pass up from either Carlton or Austral. The address and code for the locked box will be sent in the confirmation email after booking. Please scroll down to the bottom of the email.
You can pick up the pass anytime AFTER 7pm on the night prior to your booking. The pass MUST be returned by 7pm on the day of your booking.

We have 2 family passes available each term. Each pass entitles 2 adults and up to 3 children aged 4-15 entry into the museum. Additional tickets can be purchased at your own expense from the museum.
