About this event

Join contemporary Indonesian artist Dias Prabu for a batik making workshop, where he will introduce you to wax relief techniques - both traditional and contemporary. You will create your own textile design during the workshop. The event also supports the reduction of waste materials, such as clothes. Local residents can make their own batik work using their unused shirts, scarfs, or pants made from natural fibres like 100% cotton, linen, hemp, etc., which will take batik dyes. They can use these garments breathing new life into their closes with a touch of batik technique.

Time: 9.30am to 2.30pm (lunch break 12:30 to 1pm)
