KSP Press Club
The Holiday Hub for Tomorrow’s Media Moguls
This full day adventure will have young writers aged between 10 and 17 running the KSP newsroom and writing up a storm. The idea of the program is to show the different avenues available to make a career out of writing and to have fun while learning to work in a team.
The excitement begins on enrolment when participants will be posted an exclusive Media Pass on a lanyard which must be brought on the day to gain entry.
Pick a favourite topic – Reviews? Poetry? History? Feature Fiction? Cartoon? Photojournalism? – and be guided through the process of how to create a column or feature piece.
Learn interview techniques and put them into practice by interviewing a visiting special guest author during the KSP Press Club conference, which may be uploaded to YouTube.
The program includes lunch plus morning and afternoon tea, writing time, workshops and games.
By taking part in this program, all cadets will become published authors as the finished work is published on the KSP Press Club blog, together with images and an author biography. The best complete Press Club pieces produced in 2017 will also be published in KSP's end-of-year printed anthology!
The program is limited to 20 participants so get in quick to ensure you don’t miss out.
