Socks make the ideal project either to get the perfect fitting sock for yourself or as wonderful gifts for loved ones. In this class you will learn all about-
- The construction of the sock
- How to knit in the round using four needles
- How to turn a heel
- Kitchener stitch to complete the sock
- How to knit a sock from the cuff down
- Working with a small sample sock
And much more! For this class you need to be able to knit and cast on. Full notes to take away provided
If you have needles and yarn you would like to use then feel free to bring them, 4 ply yarn and four appropriately sized dpn’s but don’t worry if you haven’t or you forget we have more than enough to go round!
You will learn from experienced teacher Helen Chatterton in her accessible studio located in Summerhall. This class will have a maximum of 6 students and you will be provided food and drinks.
