Hello!
Welcome to another JESUS creative retreat!
This will be a day focused on one thing: JESUS.
We want to:
1. Make God's temple beautiful (prepare our hearts & the room we are gathering in for Him)
2. Give Him our worship
3. Invite Him to come and meet & dwell with us
And all using different forms of creativity.
The day will begin with a time of coffee & waiting on the Lord. We will then have our first session of seeking the Holy Spirit and preparing our hearts for Him. After this we will have lunch and move into a time of participating in various creative workshops of your choice. We will finish the workshops around 4.30pm before ending the day with an open creative worship night from 6pm.
Workshops may include (but are not limited to):
- nature walks
- poem writing
- watercolour painting
- christian stretching & meditation
- worship dance
- food exploration
Official workshops will be released on our facebook event page over the coming few weeks.
Cost: $10. This will cover coffee, morning & afternoon tea. You can either bring your own lunch (BYO) or pay an additional $10 to have lunch provided.
For dinner, you can either bring your own, order takeaway, or leave the church and return for the evening session. If this changes and we are able to provide dinner we will let you know asap.
Kids: There will be an optional creche and children's ministry (including creative workshops for the children) available on the day.
