INCCIP Webinar: UN Committee on the Rights of the Child

Hosted by the International Coalition of Children with Incarcerated Parents (INCCIP), this series of online events discuss and examines issues related to children with incarcerated parents.

In this event, Benoit Van Keirsbilck, a member of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child, will explore and open up discussion on the committee's 27th General Comment: Children's Rights to Access Justice and Effective Remedies.

About Benoit Van Keirsbilck

Benoit Van Keirsbilck is the Director of the Belgian section of Defense for Children International (DCI). He is Chief Editor of the Journal of Children’s Law (Belgium) and a member of the Advisory board of the UN Global Study on children deprived of liberty.

In 2021, he was elected as a member of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child. Hehas dedicated his entire career to children's rights at national and international levels.
