Identity and Self Expression Workshop - For young people aged 12-25

🌈 Join us for an empowering Identity and Self-Expression Workshop for young people! 🌈

🎨 Dive into a world of creativity and self-discovery as we celebrate individuality and diversity.

💄 Explore the transformative power of makeup with our skilled makeup artist, who will guide
you through techniques to enhance your unique features and express your authentic self.

👚 Revamp your wardrobe and embrace personal style at our clothes swap station. Trade in your old threads for something fresh and exciting, and discover new ways to showcase your identity through fashion. We’ll also have lots of clothes available if you don’t have anything to swap. Transform Transwear will also be in attendance.

💅 Let your nails become a canvas for self-expression with our nail art station.

🎨 Express yourself even further by crafting custom badges at our badge-making station. Design symbols and slogans that resonate with your identity.

🌟 Whether you're exploring your identity or simply celebrating who you are, this workshop aims to be a safe, inclusive, and fun-filled space for all young people to express themselves freely and authentically! 🌟

We will be running two sessions:

• 4:30pm – 6:00pm for ages 12-17
• 6:30 – 8:00pm for ages 18 – 25

You can select your session when you register for the event 😊

📍 Location: Valley Youth Space (3 Matthews Avenue, Niddrie)
💰 Cost: This activity is FREE. All materials used in the workshop will be provided.

Food will be provided that caters to all dietary requirements including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, nut free and halal.

Please note: To create a safe space that belongs to young people, Valley Youth events are for 12-25 year olds only. Parents & guardians are asked not to attend. All Valley Youth events are all facilitated by trained Youth Workers who will ensure the safety of all participants.
