Day 2: Symbolism and Motif

Students will explore how to effectively use symbolism and motifs in their writing. They'll apply these techniques in timed writing responses to hone their skills.

Day 3: Anecdotes and Evidence

Students will learn techniques for incorporating anecdotes and other evidence into persuasive and discursive writing. They'll practice these skills and receive feedback on their discursive responses.

Students will study various narrative structures and apply them in writing exercises and timed responses, enhancing their understanding of effective storytelling.

About the Course
Module C requires students to learn how to write imaginatively, discursively or persuasively. They are required to generate an idea for a piece of creative writing for an unseen stimulus, under timed conditions

In this 5- Day course, students break down key elements of creative writing, learn tips and tricks for making their Module C piece stand out, generate a range of ideas for different practice questions, and generate five new pieces of writing which they will receive feedback on.

This course is suitable for both English Advanced and English Standard Students!

Each day provides students with practical experience and personalized feedback to improve their writing for the HSC.
