Hike Secret Carnarvons

Trek the hidden Carnavons on this 5-day holiday with your local eco-guide. Explore the secrets of the Carnarvon Ranges with 8-15 kilometre walks in the remote Wallaroo private property with its incredible diversity of flora, fauna, scenery and Indigenous sites. We also walk the Lonesome section of Expedition National Park to the spectacular Candlesticks and follow the renowned trail in the Carnarvon National Park. A night walk uncovers the mysterious world of nocturnal creatures. With three nights glamping at Wallaroo Outback Retreat, the bush becomes your habitat. The tour starts with a night in Roma before travelling to the Carnavons.

How far do we walk each day?

It varies depending on our location. Some days are 5-10kms whereas Day 4 is between 8-14kms.

Do you need to be an experienced hiker?

Reasonable fitness is needed to make the most of this holiday.

Do I need to carry my own pack?

In the Carnarvon Ranges, we stay in deluxe glamping tents. A day pack is all that is required for our days of adventuring.
