When? Saturday November 2nd, 2024. Doors open at 5:45pm.
Where? Midland Town Hall, 312 Great Eastern Highway, Midland.
What? Formal, Black Tie Ball. Cocktails, Canapes and Ball gowns meets Wings, Claws and Fangs in an enchanting over 18’s event.
Physical Invitations will be posted at the beginning of October. Please bring these along with your ticket and present them upon arrival. You will then receive a Court allocation and a symbolic token to exchange for your welcoming cocktail (or low alcohol alternative).
Admission closes at 6:30pm. Once the doors close, the High Queen will give her welcoming speech and present the courts with a challenge. Keen eyes and a sharp mind will serve you well.
The music begins with the Jarrah Celts providing traditional folk dancing and music.
Canape Platters ( Bite sized nibbles, with some more substantial options) served from approximately 7:00pm until 9:00pm. Dessert canapes from 9:30pm. The Bar will be serving, juice, soft drink and beer/ wine/ cider as part of your ticket fee. A small selection of cocktails/mocktails will be available for an additional charge.
DJ from 9:30pm onwards. We are open to song suggestions for an immersive evening. Please submit no more then 3 suggestions to bearcatering@gmail.com before July 30th.
Capture the night with Rift professional event photography from 7pm to 10pm. Remember it forever with an individual gift collected on Departure.
Prizes for the Best Dressed, created by local artisans such as Laughing Fish Forge and Morrigan Wynter Leather. Best Dressed nominated by staff, judged by attendees.
This is a black tie event with full fantasy flare, all lore’s welcome. Feel free to explore our Pinterest board for outfitting ideas. Available on our website.
Doors open at 5:45pm, doors close at 6:30pm and event closes at 11:30pm .
No abusive/ antisocial / bullying behaviour will be tolerated. Security will be on site.
No edged / metal weapons . Prop weapons made of soft foam type materials permitted. No replica guns, bows, slings or anything able to launch a projectile.
