Guru Dudu’s Silent Disco Walking Tours are a hilarious dancing, walking adventure. Wearing Guru Dudu headsets (supplied) you groove your way through local streets engaging passers by with spontaneous flash-mob style dancing antics.

Upbeat music from your favourite decades are played by your vibrant host Fabulous Funky Fox!

Entrants agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, and the terms and conditions of Eventbrite.

Ticket Sales

Tickets are non refundable, but may be transferred to another person over the age of 18 years. Please contact event organiser mackaywaterfront@mackay.qld.gov.au to organise.

Tickets must not be duplicated for the purpose of falsifying entry.

Tickets cannot be on-sold by any means at a price greater than the purchase price of the ticket. Scalped tickets may be cancelled, and the ticket holder denied entry.

The event organiser reserves the right to refuse entry.

As the Event Organiser hosting this event, Mackay Regional Council is solely responsible for all issues relating to the sale of tickets. If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact mackaywaterfront@mackay.qld.gov.au.

If the event is unable to be held on the advertised date due to unforeseen circumstances if the event will be rescheduled not cancelled.

Safe Dancing Guidelines

Please be mindful of your personal safety and the safety of others while on the tour. The headphones decrease your ability to hear regular noises on the street so it is important that you listen and adhere to the safety instructions of the host at all times, in particular in regards to road safety.

The headphones are fitted with a volume switch so you can adjust the sound to an appropriate level for your safety and enjoyment.

As the tour will cover a variety of physical terrains we ask that you take responsibility for your own safety and wellbeing (e.g. avoiding slippery surfaces, not climbing on any objects that are off the ground, etc.)

Please also take responsibility to move within your own physical limits while participating in the tour.

The consumption of alcohol is not permitted on our tours in the interests of everyone's safety. The host reserves the right to discontinue the tour should the participants not be attending to the advice around safety.

The event is smoke-free and smoking and vaping is not permitted.

Disclaimer

All tour attendees participating in a Silent Disco Walking Tour do so at their own risk and waive any liability claims against Guru Dudu Productions. This includes personal injury as well as loss, damage or theft to any participants property while they are participating in a tour.

Any child under 12 years must be under direct supervision of an adult at all times.

Other

All entrants must comply with the reasonable directions of Event Organiser and security personnel.

The Event Organiser is not liable for any loss, injury or damage to any person or personal property during the event.

Entrants consent to having photographs or video taken by the event organiser and agrees the images and videos taken may be used for promotional purposes for other future events.

Mackay Regional Council participate in the Companion Card Scheme to ensure an equitable and consistent approach to admission arrangements for people with a disability who require the support of a carer / companion. This scheme is underpinned by the Equal Opportunity Act (1986) and the Disability Discrimination Act (1992). The Companion Card Scheme allows the Companion Cardholder’s Carer admission to all shows at the Venue at no charge. Please contact the event organiser for further information.
